In 2020, the Stichting 100 jaar Jan Mankes marked the 100th anniversary of painter Jan Mankes’s death in Eerbeek. Activities included an exhibition at Huis te Eerbeek by artists inspired by Mankes, lectures, an educational program, a walk, a contest with an exhibition, and a commemorative plaque, plus two books and a film with Museum MORE. Commemorations began with a plaque unveiling on 26 April and continued until 29 November 2020.
